Leiden, Netherlands, Duesseldorf, Germany, July, 2026
In H1 2026, HAL and its team achieved several milestones:
- Commercial strategy delivers immediate results: already in H1 2026, revenue grew at a strong mid-single-digit organic rate, driven by broad-based growth across all markets and particularly strong performance in Germany, Europe’s largest AIT market.
- Landmark Phase III clinical trial: positive pivotal results for PURETHAL Mites PM50k, which demonstrated a 30% reduction in Total Combined Rhinitis Score versus placebo (p < 0.0001). Subject to regulatory approval in Germany and other geographies, PURETHAL Mites PM50k could offer a modern SCIT AIT option for patients with house dust mite allergy.
- Strategic partnership with Advanz Pharma: entered into a multi-year strategic collaboration spanning dermatology, pulmonology and allergology in Germany and Austria – expanding patient access to modern, cost-effective biosimilars while opening a new commercial growth avenue for HAL Allergy.
- Leadership team extended: Michael Kern (McKinsey & Co., Evotec) appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), with responsibility for Finance, IT, Procurement and Business Development.
- Positive outlook, H2 growth trajectory supported: solid growth trajectory supported by continued commercial momentum based on strong prescriber relationships, new clinical outcomes and clinical R&D insights, a convincing product portfolio, and favorable market conditions. Additional R&D initiatives and portfolio enhancements are expected to drive further mid- to long-term growth.
“The first half of 2026 has been a defining period for HAL Allergy. We grew in line with our ambition to become a leading specialty biopharma company, delivered benchmark Phase III data, welcomed Advanz as a strong new biologics partner, and extended our leadership team. Building this momentum gives us confidence in the opportunities ahead,” said Dr. Philip Boehme, CEO of HAL Allergy Group.
