HAL Allergy victim of ransomware attack
In the evening of Saturday, October 28, HAL Allergy was hit by a ransomware attack. Thanks to the timely intervention by our IT team, the attack was stopped on Sunday morning (October 29), limiting the scope of the attack to part of the HAL Allergy network. HAL Allergy immediately engaged external cybersecurity experts to assist in restoring the affected network and investigate the issue.
As a result, we are unfortunately experiencing a delay in processing orders or delivering products. We are working very hard to be fully operational again as soon as possible. We are aware that this situation might be very unpleasant for you as our customer. Our focus is on delivering our products as soon as possible. We cannot provide you with any timelines yet. Where we can, we will provide further updates on this website.
Currently, the forensic investigation is still ongoing. At this time, we cannot rule out that personal data of natural persons, which data has been provided to us in the course of placing orders for our products with us, have been compromised. For such personal data, HAL Allergy is the controller in the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In accordance with the GDPR, HAL Allergy wishes to notify those persons whose personal data may have been affected of the possible compromise of their personal data. Please read our Notification Statement for more information.
