Who is HAL Allergy, what do we do and what do we stand for? More importantly, what do we have to offer people with allergic symptoms and their doctors? Here is a brief introduction.
International repute - but also very Dutch
HAL stands for 'Haarlems Allergenen Laboratorium', an originally Dutch company set up in Haarlem over 45 years ago. A lot has happened since then. HAL Allergy has grown into a company of international repute that operates in as many as 15 countries. Our products are supplied to major European countries, such as Germany, Austria, Italy, the Benelux, Spain and Greece. See HAL Allergy Group for a complete overview.
Because of our worldwide increase, a new production plant and office premises will be built on the BioScience park in Leiden. The new location will be fully operational as from 2009.
Leading in allergy treatment and diagnostic products
We take more than a little pride in our leading role in the production of allergen extracts, both for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes. Our head office, which houses the development, production, quality control, clinical and registration departments, has a staff of approximately 150. HAL Allergy works intensively with its foreign branches and prominent research institutes, thus optimally combining knowledge and experience. Our aim is to continuously improve ways of diagnosing, treating and curing allergies.
